<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a light emitting device of which light extraction efficiency is improved by electrophoretic deposition. <P>SOLUTION: This method is used to form a light emitting device which is comprised of a light emitting element and a fluorescent material, and it includes a first step to place the light emitting element in a first solution containing the fluorescent material and a light transmission material, a second step to deposit the fluorescent material on the light emitting element by electrophoresis in the first solution, a third step to place the light emitting device with the deposited fluorescent material in the second solution containing the light transmission material as a main material, and a fourth step to impregnate the deposit of the fluorescent material with the light transmission material included in the second solution by electrophoresis in the second solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
