<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of lighting a lighting place with sufficiently brightness even if a light has small capacity, and reducing the size of the light. <P>SOLUTION: The power tool is provided with an approximately cylindrical shape body part 2A, a housing 2 having a handle part 2B consecutively provided on the body 2A so as to form an approximately T shape in the side view, and an approximately cylindrical shape hammer case (case) 3 mounted on the tip end of the body part 2A to form a part of the body 2A of the housing 2. In the impact driver (power tool) 1, a trigger 6 which is stored in the transmission mechanism part and the hammer case 3 and controls the supply of power to a motor is provided on the handle part 2B.
