PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and simple optical fiber transporting tool that transports a fusion-spliced optical fiber from a fusion spliced position to a reinforced heating position. SOLUTION: The optical fiber transporting tool 1 is the one for transporting the optical fibers 5 after they are fusion spliced by a fusion splicing device 3 equipped with a pair of connecting holders 15 for clamping one or more pairs of optical fibers 5. The tool 1 comprises: a pair of extension holders 27 which are for clamping the optical fibers 5, and positioned each adjacently to the outside of the pair of connecting holders 15; and a connecting arm 29 which is provided with a freely attachable/detachable holder clamping part 41 for the purpose of fixedly clamping the pair of extension holders 27 simultaneously and integrally.
