PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proceeding vehicle following travel control device causing no problem in reliability of a relay for turning on a brake lump by appropriately turning on the brake lump during deceleration control. SOLUTION: When demand deceleration (indication value) is larger than a first threshold during proceeding vehicle following control, the brake lump 28 is turned on by a brake lump SW 24 and a brake lamp relay 26 is set in a non-drive condition.
