PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter which can reduce the low-frequency noise of a DC current that is outputted, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: This DC-DC converter 100 has an input converting unit 110, where input converting circuits 111, 112, 113, 114 having switching elements and resonators are connected in parallel, and one of these input conversion circuits is set as the master circuit and other input converting circuits are set as slave circuits, an output voltage detecting circuit 120, which detects the output voltage of the input converting circuit 110; a master control unit 130 which controls the ON-time of the switching element of the master circuit, based on the output voltage of the input converting unit 110 detected by the output voltage detecting circuit 120; and a slave control unit 140 which severally controls the ON-times of the switching elements of the slave circuits so that the switching cycle of the master circuit in the switching cycle of the slave circuits is synchronous with each other.
