摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a water leak position from measured data by apparatuses installed on each water distribution block. SOLUTION: This water leak monitoring system has a monitoring device 12 for collecting and storing a flow rate and pressure data from a flowmeter 5 and manometers 6a, 6b installed in each water distribution block, and a water leak position estimation device 13. The water leak position estimation device 13 is equipped with a periodical data acquisition means 21 for taking out the flow rate and the pressure data at a prescribed period stored in the monitoring device and taking out a signal on a flow rate change and a pressure change by which a water leak is anticipated, a reaction time calculation means 22 for calculating a pressure reaction time difference from the signal on two pressure changes, a pressure propagation estimation means 23 for estimating pressure propagation speed by using the pressure reaction time difference and a distance between two manometers in the water distribution block specified in conduit network map data, and a flow rate change position estimation means 32 for receiving a signal on a flow rate change and estimating a flow rate change position by using the pressure propagation speed, the flowmeter in the conduit network map data, and a manometer installation position.
