PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a recessed feeling of a dial, to improve light-receiving efficiency of a solar cell, and to prevent stop of an electronic timepiece or deviation of a display time, though removal of the recessed feeling of the dial and improvement of the light-receiving efficiency of the solar cell collide with each other, because light reception near the root of the solar cell is shielded by the dial end face, in an electronic timepiece structure with a solar cell wherein the solar cell is arranged approximately vertically to the dial surface on a dial circumferential part. SOLUTION: In this electronic timepiece with the solar cell equipped with the solar cell 2 arranged approximately vertically to the dial 3 surface; and a support member 1 having a projection part 1f comprising an outside wall 1g, an inside wall 1c and a top part 1e, and a solar cell guide 1b, for storing the solar cell 2 between the projection part 1f and the solar cell guide 1b, the dial 3 is disposed inside the inside wall 1c, and the inside wall 1c is faced to the dial 3 end face 3a.
