PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To boil or stew food to be soft in a short time in a macerated state even with respect to cooking menus requiring time, by performing cooking with ultrasonic vibration without limiting used pans and containers. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave propagation means 9 having adhesiveness is placed on a bottom surface 6 of a heating chamber just above an ultrasonic vibrator 7, and the pan 2 in which cooking ingredients are put, is placed on the ultrasonic wave propagation means 9. Thus the ultrasonic wave propagation means 9 is closely kept into contact with both of the bottom surface of the heating chamber and the bottom of the pan. As the vibration of the ultrasonic wave can be propagated to the pan when the voltage is applied to the ultrasonic vibrator 7 by a control means 10, the ultrasonic cooking can be performed with any pan without using a special pan. Further the food can be softened in a short time and finished in a state of macerated with flavoring liquid by action of cavitation by ultrasonic wave, by additionally performing microwave heating.
