PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a riding type vehicle such as a motorcycle, a scooter, a snow mobile and a buggy. SOLUTION: The riding type vehicle (1) comprises an engine 13, an exhaust pipe 22 having an muffler 23 and connected to the engine 13, an exhaust pipe protector 24 for covering one part of the side of the exhaust pipe 22, and a rear frame 4 extending in the rear of the vehicle.
