PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device equipped with a bookbinding device which can certainly perform a laser processing to at least, either of a binding position of sheeting or a portion where a fold is formed, and/or can bind a presentable booklet with less opening. SOLUTION: This bookbinding device 2 comprises (1) a binding means 42 which forms a booklet by saddle-stitching a plurality of pieces of sheeting, and (2) fold forming means 45 and 46 which form a fold by doubling the booklet saddle-stitched by the binding means 42. In addition, the bookbinding device 2 has a laser processing means 55 which performs the laser processing using a laser beam to at least, either of the binding position of the sheeting by the binding means 42 or the portion where the fold of the sheeting is formed by the fold forming means 45 and 46.
