PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shifting shock while improving responsiveness in shift.

SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S102) of starting the monitoring of a turbine rotating speed and an output shaft rotating speed when starting direct shift (YES in S100), a step(S106) of controlling a release element 1 to be completely released, a step (S110) of reducing control pressure on a release element 2 down to predetermined control pressure, a step (S114) of starting the engaging control of an engaging element 1 when a set time Ts(1) passes (YES in S112), a step (S120) of controlling the release element 2 to be completely released when a set time Ts(2) passes (YES in S118), and a step (S124) of starting the engaging control of an engaging element 2 when the turbine rotating speed NT is an after-shift gear stage synchronously rotating speed minus a set value Ns or greater (YES in S122).
