<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the water cut-off position of a drain wire and achieve cost reduction in water cut-off treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In this water cut-off method for the shielding wire, after the drain wires 11 and core electric wires 12 are pulled outward from the barking end of one end of the shielding wire 10, the drain wires are covered with nonwaterproof heat-shrinkable tubes and passed through a hot melt tube. Further, a waterproof heat-shrinkable tube is moved toward a position for covering the outer circumferential position of the hot melt tube and the outer circumferential position on the end side of the shielding wire. Afterward, the nonwaterproof heat-shrinkable tubes and the waterproof heat-shrinkable tube are thermally shrunk and the water cut-off agent of the hot melt tube and those of the nonwaterproof heat-shrinkable tubes are melted. On the front end side from the barking end, the water cut-off agent is filled into between the inner circumferential side of the waterproof heat-shrinkable tube and the outer circumferential side of both the nonwaterproof heat-shrinkable tubes covering the drain wires and the core electric wires, and hot melt is filled into a gap surrounded by both the nonwaterproof heat-shrinkable tubes covering the drain wires and the core electric wires, while on the rear end side from the barking end, the water cut-off agent is filled into between the inner circumferential side of the waterproof heat-shrinkable tube and the outer circumferential side of the shielding wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
