<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly separate a waste tire formed by bonding a rubber section to a base section made of a metal, and to make each part easier to reuse. <P>SOLUTION: This waste tire treating apparatus comprises a supporting table 112, a cutter 113, a heater 120, a press machine 130 and a controller 140. In this case, the supporting table 112 supports a base section B, and on which a tire T is mounted. The cutter 113 is installed in a manner to face the rubber section G. The heater 120 heats the base section B from the inside. The press machine 130 presses the rubber section G toward the cutter 113. The controller 140 controls the heater 120 and the press 130. The controller 140 separates the rubber section G from the base section B by operating the press machine 130 after heating the base section B to a specified temperature by the heater 120 under a state in which the tire T is mounted on the supporting table 112.
