<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system with an image forming device acquiring an additional image from a server at proper timing. <P>SOLUTION: The server 10 has an additional image transmitting means 110 which transmits the additional image to the image forming device, an additional image updating means 102 which updates the additional image, and an update notification transmitting means 110 which transmits update notification indicative of updating to the image forming device when the additional image is updated. The image forming device 20 has an update notification receiving means 200 which receives the update notification from the server 10, an additional image receiving means 200 which receives the additional image from the server 10 when receiving the update notification, a print instruction acquiring means 220 which acquires print instructions, an object image acquisition means 212 which acquires an image to be printed, and an image forming means 214 which forms the object image and the additional image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
