PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive hollow object having small hardness and true specific gravity, and improved dispersibility to resin, and to provide a manufacturing method of the conductive hollow object. SOLUTION: The conductive hollow object comprises: a hollow object body comprising an outer shell section made of a thermoplastic resin, and a hollow section surrounded by the outer shell section; and a conductive particle adhering to the outer surface of the outer shell section, or a conductive metal layer for covering the outer surface of the outer shell section. The true specific gravity is 0.01-0.65 g/cc. The manufacturing method of the conductive hollow object includes a process for covering the outer surface of the hollow object body that comprises the outer shell section made of a thermoplastic resin and the hollow section surrounded by the outer shell section and has a true specific gravity of 0.005-0.30 g/cc with a conductive metal layer by an electroless plating method.
