PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous rectifying type switching regulator that improves efficiency, while reducing the delay time, until reverse current is cut off from the time of detection of the occurrence of the reverse current. SOLUTION: When detecting a sign of the occurrence of the reverse current or the occurrence of the reverse current, on the basis of a voltage of a connection part Lx3 between a second switching element M2 and a third switching element M3, the third switching element M3 is turned off by a comparator 33 so as to make the connection between the second switching element M2 and a ground voltage cut off, and it is possible to eliminate the reverse current that flows from the output terminal OUT to the ground voltage.
