PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable terminal equipment for easily achieving a crime preventing function in the case that a present user of the portable terminal equipment is an irregular user. SOLUTION: The portable terminal equipment has: an authentication function of, when an opening/closing recognition part 11 detects the using start operation of the portable terminal equipment 1, having a CPU 3 activate one of a camera 6, a microphone 8, a fingerprint identification part 9 and an identification number/keyword identification part 10, acquire the information of the present user, compare it with information registered beforehand and judge whether or not the present user is a regular user; and a reporting function of activating a transmission/reception part 2 when the present user is not authenticated by the authentication function and reporting irregular use to a preset reporting destination.
