PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of decrease in the resistance of an auxiliary capacitance line and improvement in the light-shielding property. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 includes: liquid crystal driving elements Tr driving liquid crystal pixels; auxiliary capacitance elements Cs holding an image signal transmitted through the liquid crystal driving elements Tr; auxiliary capacitance lines CsL connecting a common potential to the plurality of auxiliary capacitance elements Cs; and a two-layer light-shielding film 2 comprising a low resistance layer 21 being a first layer that is electrically conducted to the auxiliary capacitance lines CsL to decrease the resistance of the auxiliary capacitance lines CsL, and a light-shielding layer 22 being a second layer having a reflectance lower than that of the first layer, formed on the first layer to cover the auxiliary capacitance lines CsL.
