PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water meter and its measuring unit capable of improving assembly workability. SOLUTION: In the water meter 10, an engaging groove 60 is formed on the side of outer surfaces of connecting columns 52 extending from a display panel 31 toward a gear supporting panel 32. First fastening protrusion parts 61 are provided for the inside of the engaging groove 60 and second fastening protrusion parts 55 are provided for the side of inner surfaces of fastening flexible pieces 53 extending from a receiving plate 41 in the gear support panel 32 toward the display panel 31. By fastening the second fastening protrusion parts 55 and the first fastening protrusion parts 61 to each other, the display panel 31 and the gear support panel 32 are integrally fixed to each other. Assembly workability is thereby improved in comparison with conventional fixation with screws. Manufacturing costs are reduced by reducing part costs and omitting screw hole machining due to the elimination of the need for screws. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
