PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible ray-curable coating for woodworking coating use, curable in a short time using rays safe to human health, and intended for improving coated article productivity through preventing fluffings attributable to the expansion/contraction of a lumber or woody plywood as to-be-coated material, reducing base material warpage attributable to heating, cutting installation cost and shortening coated article production process. SOLUTION: The coating consists of a visible ray-curable sealing material comprising (A) 100 pts.mass of a bisphenol A-type vinyl ester, (B) 70-530 pts.mass of a radical-polymerizable diluent having a molecular weight of 130 or higher, (C) 0.02-36 pts.mass of a visible ray photoinitiator, (D) 0.2-90 pts.mass of a pigment and (E) 15-450 pts.mass of a filler.
