PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper discharge roller provided with a cutout part, capable of smoothing advance of a recording paper and further satisfactorily performing discharge thereof. SOLUTION: A flange part 21 includes an asymmetric cutout part 24 having a long-side kicking part 22 located on a rotating directional upstream side b and a short-side guide part 23 extended from the kicking part 22 toward a rotating directional downstream side c.
