PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper provided with an isolation sheet for preventing excreta from coming into contact with the skin of a diaper wearer. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 includes a liquid permeable inner surface side sheet 32, a liquid impermeable outer surface side sheet 8 and a body liquid absorptive core material 31 provided between both sheets in a crotch area 11. More on the inner side of the inner surface side sheet 32, the isolation sheet 33b extended elastically so as to be expanded or contracted in the cross direction A and provided with a front opening and a rear opening is provided.
