<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the movement such as control, etc. at using the paper-kind name with a custom registration being finished to be proper by grasping the practice history (utilization situation) of the printing made by the printing demand established with the paper-kind name of the custom registration and then enable to raise the convenience of users. <P>SOLUTION: After making a registration in a custom paper-kind management table with the custom paper-kind name which user designated with an arbitrary character strings (S101), the printing demand is made with the registered custom paper-kind name, then the printing is performed (S103). At this time, if the history of the custom paper-kind name is shown in a printing practice history management table, the practice history at this time is left (S105). If the history is not shown, the practice history at this time is left after making the registration in the printing practice history management table (S106).
