PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which prevents a lance body from getting out of a lance body insertion hole. SOLUTION: A connector housing 30 having a cavity 36, where a male terminal fitting 33 can be inserted, is seated at a concave seating part 12 on a frame 10. On the connector housing 30, a lance body insertion hole 37 is formed for inserting a lance body 50, having a flexible lance 54 via the opening at the side surface of the connector housing 30. When the lance body 50 is inserted into the lance body insertion hole 37 to a specified depth, the lance 54 is advanced within the cavity 36 to perform elastic latching of the male terminal fitting 33. When the connector housing 30 with the seated lance body 50 is accommodated in the frame 10, the opening of the lance body insertion hole 37 at one side surface 30A of the connector housing 30 is closed by the inner surface of the concave seating part 12 at the frame 10.
