PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product inspection device which conducts very secure inspection in a finished product inspection process on a main manufacturing line, records results of the inspection per unit, and sets a wide scope of allowance of fluctuation in a single unit by making use of the results of the inspection of each unit. SOLUTION: A bar code seal 43 recording the results of inspection of a single unit is issued and sticked to the corresponding unit, or a memory card 21 is caused to flow together with a pallet flowing on the main manufacturing line 20a to write the results of the inspection of the single unit mounted in each unit assembly process 23 additionally. In the finished product inspection process 24, the results of the inspection of each unit recorded in the memory card 21 are read based on the bar code seal 43 to determine whether a finished product passes the inspection. Whether fluctuation between units is within the scope of allowance is determined based on the values obtained by the inspection of each unit, and the scope of allowance of the unit attached in a self-process is determined based on the values obtained by the inspection of the unit mounted on the upstream side more than the self-process.
