PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device capable of automatically fixing the inner pressure of a reduced pressure chamber. SOLUTION: The coating device has a back-up roll 12 on which a web is travelled, a slot die 14 and the reduced pressure chamber 16 and further has a pressure sensor 22 for detecting the inner pressure of the reduced pressure chamber 16 and a damper 30 of an inner pressure adjusting means for feedback-controlling the inner pressure so that the detected inner pressure becomes a reference inner pressure.
