A light emitting device and a fabrication method thereof are provided to improve image quality by securing uniformity and visibility of brightness for each pixel. A light emitting device includes a substrate(210), a first electrode, a sub electrode, an insulation layer(230), a light emitting layer(270), and a second electrode. The first electrode is formed on the substrate. The sub electrode is the same lamination as the first electrode and is electrically distinguished from the first electrode. The insulation layer is located on the first electrode and the sub electrode and includes first and second openings. The first opening exposes a part of the first electrode. The second opening exposes a part of the sub electrode. The light emitting layer is located inside the first opening on the insulation layer. The second electrode is located on the light emitting layer and is electrically connected to the sub electrode through the second opening. |
