<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small paper carton for liquid whose screw cap can be easily attached and removed, and from which liquid contents can be easily poured, although the container is small. <P>SOLUTION: In the deformable gable top carton, a rear side roof panel and a top panel are successively connected via a horizontal folding line of the upper side of a higher rear side wall panel forming a square, columnar body. Folded roof panels and folded top panels are successively connected via diagonal folding lines of the upper sides of a right side wall panel and a left side wall panel. The folded roof panels are folded inward into triangular shapes, and the folded top panels are folded inward in two. At the same time, the top panels are formed by fin-sealing the opposite top panels having inwardly folded roof panels between them, across the two-folded top panels.
