<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing lithium manganate having excellent high speed discharge performance particularly in a lithium cell compared to conventional lithium manganate and lithium manganate obtained by the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing lithium manganate includes a firing step for mixing and firing manganese oxide having 0.03-0.5 μm average aggregated particle diameter and at least a lithium compound and a pulverizing step for dry-pulverizing the resultant fired material to obtain lithium manganate having ≤10 μm average aggregated particle diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
