<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reading device reducing influence of specular reflection and quickly reading an information code. <P>SOLUTION: Whether the specular reflection occurs in an image is detected, when the specular reflection does not occur in an image, decoding is performed using the image signal of a first light receiving sensor 23A large in an amplification factor. A QR code can be processed by a clear image large in contrast difference and correctly decoded.
