<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element, for which the occurrence of a short circuit is reduced, the weight is reduced, and which is highly reliable, in the liquid crystal display element which uses a liquid crystal layer containing liquid crystal droplets dispersed therein. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display element has at least two layers in between the liquid crystal layer, and an electrode layer arranged by coating or vapor deposition, wherein at least one layer thereof is a flat layer with 1μm or smaller unevenesses on the electrode-layer side surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
