PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent detachment of a synchronous cable from a power roller assembly during an assembly work of inserting the power roller assembly with the synchronous cable wound therearound into a casing. SOLUTION: In an assembly tool, the distance between a pair of trunnions 15, 15 (the distance between pivots and the distance between tilted bearings) in a power roller assembly is set to a specified assembly dimension L by first and second supporting bodies 23B, 200. Thus, even when a synchronous cable 502 is wound around the power roller assembly 500 in advance, the synchronous cable 502 is not detached from, for example, a cable holding groove of the power roller assembly 500, and the detachment of the synchronous cable 502 from the power roller assembly 500 during the assembly work can be reliably prevented.
