PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin packaging machine improving portability of storage boxes 17, 19 for storing packaged coins. SOLUTION: This coin packaging machine can set arbitrally the quantity of the packaged coins to be stored in the respective storage boxes 17, 19, and a storage box 21. The coins are sorted into the first storage box 17, the second storage box 19, and the third storage box 21 with priority in this order, by a lift 26. The storage of the coins is switched to the second storage box 19, when the quantity of the packaged coins to be stored in the first storage box 17 reaches the preset quantity for each denomination. The storage of the coins is switched to the third storage box 21, when the quantity of the packaged coins to be stored in the second storage box 19 reaches the preset quantity for each denomination. Only the portable quantity of packaged coins can be stored in the storage boxes 17, so as to improve the portability of the storage boxes 17, 19 for storing the packaged coins.
