PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content list management device for retrieving desired content information even when it is impossible for one piece of equipment holding a content list to provide any desired content information. SOLUTION: This content list management device 11 is connected through a network 18 to a plurality of content list holding devices 14 for holding the list of content information showing information relating to digital content as a content list, and it is provided with: a content list acquisition means 19 for acquiring a part or whole part of the content list held by the content list holding device 14; a content information designation means 20 for designating object content information from the acquired content list; and a redundancy provision means 12 for performing redundancy provision processing to make the content list holding device 14 hold the object content information with the predetermined number of duplicates on the network 18.
