<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance while avoiding enlargement of electrical device arranged below a floor behind a seat for driving a travel motor. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply unit 19 disposed below the floor behind the seat 16 is composed of battery modules 37 disposed in a lower position, and a DC/DC converter 41 and a motor driving inverter disposed in an upper position. Thus, cooling air flowing from a front side to a rear side of a vehicle body is divided into upper and lower portions to cool in parallel the DC/DC converter 41 and the motor driving inverter on the upper side and the battery modules 37 on the lower side. Thus, it is possible to reduce a size of the entire power supply unit 19, and to apply cooling air at low temperature before heat exchange to all the DC/DC converter 41, and the motor driving inverter 42, thereby enhancing cooling effect. Also pressure loss of cooling air can be reduced. Thus, a small sized low cost fan can be used as a cooling fan 34 arranged in a downstream of a merging part of cooling air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
