CUTTING WASTE RECOVERING METHOD, SHEET BUNDLE CUTTER, BOOKBINDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately store cut paper pieces to which an adhesive such as glue and fasteners such as a staple adheres, and paper pieces without adhesion of these, in cutting a bundle of paper sheets.

SOLUTION: The sheet bundle cutter includes: a bundle of paper sheets at least one side edges of which are bound; a conveying means for conveying the bundle of sheets to a predetermined cutting position; a cutting means disposed at the above cutting position to selectively cut the peripheral edges of bundle of paper sheets; and a cutting waste storing container containing cutting waste from the cutting means. The cutting waste storing container sorts cutting waste at least in two and stores the same, and a cutting waste sorting means for sorting and storing cutting waste is provided between the cutting means and the cutting waste storing container. The cutting waste sorting means sorts and stores cutting waste according to the cutting portion of bundle of sheets by the above cutting means.
