PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail address management system and an e-mail address management program capable of reducing the area of use of a storage medium for storing e-mail addresses. SOLUTION: A complex machine is used in which mail software is installed to enable at least the transmission of an e-mail using a network line. An operation for inputting an e-mail address is performed at an operation part 9. When the e-mail address inputted by the operation part 9 is stored in an HDD 17 that serves as a storage medium, after the domain name of the e-mail address is made into an abbreviation sign by a control circuit part 16, the abbreviation sign is stored in the HDD 17. An e-mail address having the same domain name as that of the already registered e-mail address is stored in the HDD 17 using the same abbreviation sign.
