PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cutting off a pipe, which apparatus can reduce the number of components, and does not increase a cost, and is light-weighted and compact, and can sufficiently cope with pipes having various thicknesses, and can easily carry out a deburring operation. SOLUTION: The apparatus for cutting off the pipe comprises driving roller members which are arranged on the upper portion of an apparatus body, and support and turn a workpiece, a column 7 uprightly arranged on the body, a slide member 8 attached to the column 7 so as to move up and down, and a wheel cutter 11 which is rotatably attached to the slide member 8 and has a nearly disklike shape. The apparatus cuts off the workpiece from its outer periphery while supporting the workpiece by means of the driving roller members and the wheel cutter 11. In the apparatus, a rack 7a is provided on the column 7, and a link member 15 is pivotally supported at a first supporting point 41 located on the upper portion of the slide member 8, and a handle 16 is rotatably supported at a second supporting point 42 located at the tip end of the link member 15 on the rack 7a side so as to have a pinion 16b which engages with the rack 7a and utilizes the second supporting point 42 as the center of its pitch circle.
