PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross bar member by which seat width of a wheelchair provided in a hospital etc. may be easily adjusted matching a patient and seat width of a wheelchair in use is easily adjusted matching growth, fatness, or slimness. SOLUTION: The cross bar member 100 is composed of an inner pipe 18 and an outer pipe 19 of the cross bar 17 and a connection member 22 to connect the cross par 17 and a connection support member 23. Bolt holes 21 are bored respectively in a first fixing part 24, a second fixing part 25, and a third fixing part 26 in the inner and outer pipes 18, 19.
