The present invention is a routable rigid conductor assembly (10) having a core conductor (20) with a plurality of insulating dielectric layers and an armored exterior layer (70) that is capable of being routed to effect electrical transmission to, for example, a hybrid vehicle electric motor. The conductor assembly (10) of the present invention may be shaped to conform to specific routing configurations required for power transmission in a wide variety of industrial applications while providing impact protection to the conductor inside the assembly. ® KIPO & WIPO 2008
