<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint for improving sealing performance of the connection portion of a pipe while suppressing reduction in adhesiveness of a ferrule to a joint body and reduction in the amount of biting of the ferrule into the pipe. <P>SOLUTION: During threading a nut 12 to the joint body 11, a tapered face 12c formed on an inner wall 12b of the nut 12 abuts on an abutting portion 11f formed on the outer periphery of an annular portion 11b of the joint body 11 to push the annular portion 11b against the side of a guide face 11e. Thus, force of pushing the guide face 11e against the ferrule 13 is increased by threading the nut 12 thereto to increase the adhesiveness of the guide face 11e to an adhesive face 13d of the ferrule 13. Force of pushing the guide face 11e against the ferrule 13 is increased to increase the amount of biting of a front end 13a of the ferrule 13 into an outer peripheral face 14b of the pipe 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
