<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency converter which provides both wideband characteristics and imbalance characteristics between good IQs. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency converter 100 for receiving signals is provided with: a poly phase filter 130 for converting the real RF signal into the complex signal; frequency dividers 140 and 150 for converting the real local signal into the complex signal; and a quadrature mixer 160 whose all input/output signals are complex signals, and where the complex RF signal and the complex local signal are inputted. The frequency band which poly phase filter indicates the best characteristics is different from the frequency band which the divider indicates the best characteristics. The frequency converter receives in broad frequency band like 400 MHz-6GHz by previously setting the frequency characteristics so as to complement the frequency band having mutual inferior characteristics with the RF signal and LO signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
