PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the holographic medium compatibility between holographic storage devices.

SOLUTION: Disclosed here is a device, system, and method for calibrating the holographic storage devices. The read channel reads the factory-stored holograms on the holographic medium. The computing module calculates the difference between the read-out factory-stored holograms and the first holographic pattern digitally expressing the first factory-stored hologram. In one embodiment, the calibrating module corrects the read channel by using the read difference.
