摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery management system and its driving method capable of determining the existence of errors of a circuit of a voltage detection part by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The battery management system manages a battery including a first cell relay among a plurality of cells and a plurality of cell relays coupled with the plurality of cells. The battery management system includes a voltage detection part and an MCU. When the first cell relay is applied with electricity, and by accepting the transmission of a first voltage corresponding to an input voltage transmitted through a three-contact-point relay pair, a three-contact-point relay pair, coupled with the first cell corresponding to the conducted first cell relay among the plurality of cells and coupled with an auxiliary power supply part at the time of key-on and a stop, the voltage detection part generates a second voltage corresponding to the first voltage.
