PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a specific color without performing complicated processing nor depending upon variation of input signals. SOLUTION: In a color conversion table generation device, a specific color designation part outputs a specific color signal independent of a device, for example, a L*a*b signal when a specific color is designated by a user or the signal of a specific color is input. A specific color output value calculation part calculates CMYK signals corresponding to a L*a*bssignal indicating the specific color. A specific color LUT generation part extracts a plurality of lattice points being apexes of a cube including points in a CIELab color space of the L*a*bssignal of the specific color obtained by the specific color designation part and sets LUT values (output signal values) of all the extracted lattice points to values (CMYKssignals). That is, the same values (YS, MS, CS, KS) are set to respective output signal values of 8 lattice points (g1, g2 to g8) of a standard LUT. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
