PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device capable of generating high-efficiency plasma discharge on a discharge cell basis without reducing an opening area of a discharge cell corresponding to each pixel. SOLUTION: This application provides this plasma display panel having a front substrate and a back substrate arranged oppositely to each other, and provided with barrier ribs composed of a plurality of first barrier ribs extended in a first direction, and an plurality of second barrier ribs extended in a second direction crossing the first direction for forming a plurality of discharge cells by partitioning an area between the front substrate and the back substrate. The plasma display device is characteristically provided with: first electrodes arranged in the first barrier ribs positioned at every N pieces (N is a natural number) out of the plurality of first barrier ribs arranged in the first direction; second electrodes arranged in the second barrier ribs to three-dimensionally cross the first electrodes; and branch electrodes arranged in the second barrier ribs, and extended from the first electrodes to overlap at least one of the second electrodes.
