PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update a file system recorded in a recording medium without performing complicated processing with limited memory capacity. SOLUTION: A cache is composed ofαentries, and in each entry, a flag D showing whether to update information in the cache, a flag V showing whether the entry is valid, a flag W showing whether information of the entry can be written in a recording medium, an address (FS address) in a corresponding file system, whether to read from the recording medium and data (data) to be written in the recording medium are recorded. At least one entry reads data for updating an preloaded entry from the recording medium and is used to write the data in another entry. When the number of the entries is defined as x,α-x entries are used for preloading, and the preloaded data is updated if necessary and subsequently recorded in the recording medium.
