PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication interface card capable of quickly transiting a host apparatus to a succeeding state if communication between the communication interface card and a file server is interrupted when the communication interface card receives a bus command from the host apparatus. SOLUTION: The communication interface card 1202 monitors a communication state with a communication means 1300 built in the file server 1301, and when a bus command is received in a communication disabled state, generates a replay of abnormal reception and transmits the replay to the host apparatus.
