摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early complete sub-feedback learning, even when low load operation continues, in an air-fuel ratio control device of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The suction air volume is increased in the low load operation of the internal combustion engine, up to completing the sub-feedback learning. Efficiency of the internal combustion engine is reduced so as to increase the suction air volume and to restrain an increase in output caused by an increase in the suction air volume. For example, reduction in heat efficiency of the internal combustion engine by an ignition timing delay, is effective as a means for reducing the efficiency in the internal combustion engine.
