PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which is low-irritant to the skin to hardly cause rough dry skin, has a broad bactericidal spectrum, and exhibits a high bactericidal effect in a short time. SOLUTION: The liquid bactericidal detergent composition comprises (a) 1-12 wt.% N-acylamino acid based surface active agent having an 8-18C saturated or unsaturated straight-chain or branched-chain acyl group and (b) triclosan (b1), isopropylmethylphenol (b2) and/or p-chloro-m-xylenol (b3) in the sum of the amounts of (b1) to (b3) of 0.05-1 wt.%.
